The cutters arrived and cut very cleanly - as expected. The only negative is they come with shims, yet they do not come with any instructions regarding the shims. By trial & error I determined the shims needed to used with the new cutters and where the shims needed to be positioned. The reason for the shims: The shims adjust for cutter material removed when resharpening. When the cutters become worn, you can resharpen the cutters and remove one or both shims to maintain the tight fit between the two mating wood pieces. An excellent idea, I just think Amana should have provided instructions on use.

a bit pricey but worth it...

I bought this throne about 7 years ago and still use it alot. I'm 6'3" 220 pounds so I wouldn't be considered a little guy. This thing has been through a lot from being thrown into vehicles, sat on, used as a step stool, dropped and about anything else you could imagine. Theirs no blowout holes in the sides no loose stitching and it still looks great. The clamp for the height adjustment doesn't clamp very well anymore but it still holds good that's about all I can say negative.Pros: great craftmanship. The camo part is made of a thick near bullet proof material. Really comfortable. Built to last a lifetime.Cons: the height adjustment clamp is a bit worn on the inside but that's something that going to probably happen with a guy my size.Other than the pitting of the chrome on the stand part, my throne still looks like the one in the picture. Its definately built to last I would reccomend any one to at least try it out. Its a bit expensive (I paid $159.99 in 2006) and you can buy a nice rocknsoc for the price. in the long run this one will never fail you and that makes the seat worth the price.

Very Nice

I really like this camera! I bought two of these at $64.99, and in retrospect it was a great value.The picture is very clear, and the color quality is quite good. This is a wide angle camera, and two of them cover my entire front yard completely (about 40 feet deep by 75 feet wide). Detail is sacrificed a bit for the wide angle, but the 540 line resolution helps make up for that.They are nice and low-profile, unobtrusive, but noticeable to someone who would be looking for them. The mounting system is a little challenging to get aimed properly, but once you have it locked down, it is there to stay!One negative, the beamwidth of the IR illumination does not cover the entire view of the cam, so you end up with a bright circle in the middle of the image when in nightvision mode. In my application I think supplemental IR illumination will be necessary.Other than that, I can highly recommend this camera.

Some things to be aware of!

These units did not ship with a power supply or cabling!!! This is a big deal when you get above 4 cameras. It adds considerable expense to hunt down your own power supplies plus cabling times X cameras. I have previously purchased the big brother to this model, they were about 89 a piece and they were much beefier, had more IR's for night vision, and came with the audio microphone, power supply, AND 60 feet of cable. While these cameras are nice, especially as a replacement for an existing camera (that already has power supply and cabling), your best value for your money comes from the next model up.

Its just OK but...

I have a personal system set up at my residence with four different cameras. I had an extra input on my DVR so I figured I would try this camera. It is built well and is made out of cast aluminum which I was surprised to see for the price. The colors are just OK for this type of camera. Better then most cheap cameras but just OK. I haven't found a camera yet that has lifelike color like my camcorder. Its due too resolution and electronics of course. My most expensive cam is $240 and my cheapest is this one. Night vision and resolution is what my goal has been when looking for the right camera. I have tried and own several high end sony super hads which are more effective for night vision (in my opinion). This camera has about a 20'x10' EFFECTIVE range(you can actually see and make out objects). I am actually watching this cam at night while I write this review and have a raccoon at about 10'. I can tell its a coon but cant tell the stripes due to resolution. This isn't actually too bad but you get what you pay for...At least that is what I have found with SOME cameras. While I will probably still use this cam for something, it probably wont be one of my cams on my DVR for long, due to the led strength. I will try to post a video review or pictures showing this cam and my others so you can see the difference.

Very good band lighting

I must say, these are quite nice. Being LED they don't get hot, or even warm. They are super low on energy consumption and also get very bright! I somehow managed to pick them up for $80 a piece on Amazon. Even at $200 they are a good deal.

Great Stage Light

I bought this to replace a 4 can set we had been using for our 4 piece band. I was surprised at how bright it is and the amout of light it throws on the band. It's light weight makes it easy to transport. Lots of different colors and paterns can be done with it. I would recommend this to others that are looking to light a stage with different colors.

Pros: Great lights. 0%-30% is indeed a little unreliable as the other reviewer said. Using these to replace a few old par cans at a ministry. They can operate without a dimmer which was another bonus for us.Cons: Styrofoam seemed a little cheap, as it crumbled when you touched it.Other Thoughts: one of them was defective and had to be shipped back. Amazon did a great job handling the return. We shipped it back on a Thursday and the replacement came in Saturday.

Interesting instrument

This is basically a series of pitch pipes attached to a piano style keyboard. It sounds somewhere between a whistle flute (like a tin whistle w/o a whole lot of chuff or maybe a soprano recorder) and pan pipes. If you play a melodica you will take to this instrument pretty easily, but there are some subtle differences in the technique needed to play this well. I notice that the tonal quality of notes do change with air pressure--whereas with my two melodicas (each of different manufacture) air pressure really only noticeably affects volume. So you could be playing a run of notes and hit something that sounds too shrill if there's too much pressure or kind of sour if not enough. It takes a bit more practice to keep your tones consistent. That said, it can be kind of neat to be able to do tonal affects.I wish that this had a few more keys. With a tin whistle it's not a problem to play a tune and then do an octave higher on the next go around, but you can only do that with this if you are playing in C natural. If it even had just one more key, the high F#, I could play many of my favorite tunes in G or D. Although, really I just play all the tunes in the mid range but shift keys to change it up a little--it's not like I play in a group or anything.Although the pipes are cased in ABS plastic, the tangents are aluminum. I don't know what the pipes are actually made of. It seems to be solidly built for what it is and the key action is excellent. It is really easy to do glissando effects, the action is so smooth and sensitive. It comes with a standard distance hose like you find on most melodicas and a nice crook mouthpiece that is mostly metal. This allows you to see the keyboard rather well when playing. The other accessory is the neck strap. It is basically a cord with a bracket that slides over a metal button on the back of the instrument. I would advise people to use that at your own risk (or rather, at the risk of damage to your $279 instrument) because the bracket seems to easily come undone. Unfortunately, this thing does not come with a case. I found a nice, inexpensive laptop/briefcase that fits the Andes 25F really well (with room for a couple of music books even).This is a fun, interesting thing to play. I think if I weren't unexpectedly flush with cash at the time I bought this, though, I would have passed on it. I don't regret getting it at all though.

Nice Light, nice price

I really like this light and actually thinking of buying a second, but at this point it may not be that necessary since I have a few other lights and with them all going they pretty much fill any room. I was going to make this my main light until I bought a second bigger light the Revo4 which is an even better light. But as far as this Moonflower it does everything it says it does and for me it is perfect as a side light to fill a part of a room that that may not be reached by the Revo. Again all in all a fantastic light; it is compact but not too compact and it is not heavy at all and gives you a great light show. The only thing bad I can say about it (which isn't all that bad) is it's a little tough to attach a clamp on it unless you have small hands and it would be much cooler if it was set up for DMX, but that would probably up the price too much. If you are a mobile DJ looking to add a little extra to your show but don't want to spend a ton of cash, this light's for you.

First let me say that they came in great colors and worked excellently. No problem there. The mis-title is that Amazon has them listed as "Medium Point" they are NOT medium. I missed the fine print and didn't enlarge the picture enough to notice that they are NEEDLE POINT. Believe me, needle point is NOT medium.

Almost perfect

I ordered this desk after searching for the best combination of quality and affordability. I bought the desk through Amazon.com and it was shipped for free by Coaster Furniture store. The desk is absolutely beautiful and the quality is superior. I got the cappucino and dark oak version which is much darker than the picture shows. The store worked with me to deliver the desk at no cost in an expedited manner due to my pressing schedule, and their response to my request was timely. After this glowing review it would seem that there is nothing to complain about, and i'm sure my case was an aberration rather than a common occurance. The desk comes in two large boxes with the larger weighing approximately 270 lbs and the other somewhat lighter.When I unpacked the second and smaller box I discovered 3 gouges in the top of the desk which cut through the veneer. Two were about 2" long and the other was 3/4" long and all were about 1/8" deep. It was so difficult getting the desk into the room where I installed it that I decided to live with the damage and did my best to stain the gouges, but they are still obvious. This will be a functional desk and I can cover the gouges with a monitor or scanner but it was a disappointment. The box and styrafoam weren't damaged so it was obviously gouged before packaging. I emailed the store and got a polite reply, apologizing for the damage with a promise to contact the department responsible to have more thorough inspections of the furniture before it's packaged. There was no offer to refund a portion of the price, but in fairness I didn't ask for one. The only reason I didn't give the desk 5 stars was because of the pre-existing damage, and I would certainly purchase from this store again because of the high quality of their product.While it is advised to unpack and inspect the furniture before you sign the delivery document, it is impractical to do so due to the risk of damaging it when you bring it in to its eventual location, and it's unreasonable to expect the driver to wait while you bring it in and unpack it there.

Beautiful Hardwood HEAVY Desk

My husband bought this desk for me and I couldn't be more pleased with it.....it is extremely heavy, so I can't move it alone. It's very sturdy and absolutely beautiful. This desk is very rich in color AND quality. Well worth the money. Just make sure you have a desk "pad" because real wood will get indentions from writing on paperwork. I would highly recommend this desk!!!!

Great editing machine

The DVR660HS is a great unit it makes editing out commercials a breeze. The menu system can be trying but be patient and explore all the possibilities, I had a hard time finding the combine titles command at first. This unit does not have a digital tuner so you will need a converter box for off air antenna or have cable / Satellite. The RF connectors are foreign you will need adapters for US use. This unit works great for US use. It comes default setting with PAL but it is easily switched to NTSC (page 119 of manual) on the unit press "input select" & "stop" buttons together to switch between the two formats. I have been using it for 10 days now and am very comfortable with it's editing operation. It automatically detects commercials and inserts markers for you so you can go right to that point to delete out commercials no searching necessary. This feature really saves hunting time for the start/end points. Then when you need to put in a title you can use the remote like a phone key pad but all you need to do it connect a pc keyboard to the USB and it automatically brings up another window for typing in the title. The unit automatically detects the power you need foreign or US just plug it in the wall using the ac adapter for the cord that comes in the box. Quality of the picture is very good. The 250 GB hard drive gives you plenty of room for collecting movies etc. for editing later. It has digital audio,also printer capable. It is supposed to be able to connect with your PC but I as yet can't get that to work with either of my pc's. If you have any technical questions about this unit you can call Pioneer at 1-800-421-1404 . They cannot answer any questions about the 660 but you can ask about the DVR550HS they do support that one in US and it's operation is very similar but keep in mind it is not the same . I have owned three DVR's now 1SONY 2 Panasonic's and the Pioneer is by far the best unit I have used. It's editing ability makes it fun to use, I really enjoy it. I highly recommend it. Remember for US use when you first turn it on you will see video that is out of sync, don't let that bother you just switch it over to NTSC as explained above.If you call tech support # above they can verify for you this unit will operate in the US even though it was designed for Canada. I'm using mine with Directv so I'm not concerned about the tuner or EPG (tv guide). Its the same as th DVR650hs
