Great drill

This is an excellent drill. I've owned it for 3 years and used it pretty heavily during that time. The exterior of the drill is pretty beat up at this point, but everything still works the way it should.A feature I would love to see DeWalt adopt would be to flatten the back side of the drill and battery so that the drill could be set flat on its back and not tip over. This would be really useful when trying to use it in a confined space. I used to have an old Panasonic drill that was made that way, and it was great.If you want a long lasting quality drill, DEWALT is the way to go.

Awesome.

This is a great printer for many basic print jobs. I was tired of replacing ink every 3 months on my ink jet printer and all I wanted was a printer that printed b/w so I could print out maps, shipping labels, etc. This printer is great! No problems at all, its fast, the print is crystal clear and the price is cheap! It does not print photos at all but I was able to print off google maps so it did its job.

The newer model is cheaper, better (p1006)

This is a sturdy little printer and I bought it to travel with me. It's so nice to have a laser printer for business and it's plenty fast. It also works on Mac's as well as Windoze XPBut, it's more expensive than the newer P1006, which has more features and 4 times more RAM. The new one is only slightly faster, but a little heaver.And, while the new P1006 lists for $180, its selling for under $100 street price. HP ships it OVERNIGHT for free, but you pay sales tax. Amazon uses a New York company, so you pay shipping and tax.You can't go wrong with this printer. It's ideal for traveling sales people, lawyers, and students.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!

I have owned this great little workhorse for a little over a month now. Didn't buy it from Amazon, but from HP directly for $49.99 with free shipping! I have put this printer to many a test, and it always performs very well. Does not crumple or mess the paper up like a lot of other cheap laser printers out there. I have it connected to my Apple Airport Extreme wireless router and it was a breeze setting this up to work on my home network which consists of an Imac, a macbookPro, and a windows Xp desktop. It is extremely quiet while printing and is quick. The best part is its small size. One could say it even looks cute!!

Misleading battery description. You get the little ones.

Once again, Amazon and DeWalt omitted key information from the item description. I bit on the daily special on this drill kit. I have several DeWalt 18V tools and thought I was getting two new batteries and an almost free drill. My old drill does not have the LED work light, which looked useful. The description said, "What's in the Box: DC725KA 18-Volt Compact Cordless Hammer Drill Kit, two 18-volt NiCad batteries, one-hour NiCad charger, and kit box."I know that two new standard NiCad 18V batteries cost almost as much as the special price on the drill kit, so it looked like a good buy. But the kit arrived today and the batteries are the "compact" DC9099 size with black tops. The DC9099 is rated 1.7 Amp hours and has a one year warranty. These batteries are smaller and lighter (and shorter lived) than the standard batteries. The standard 18V NiCad is DC9096 with yellow top and is rated 2.4 Amp hours and has a two year warranty. Oddly enough, today's price on the batteries at Amazon is higher for the smaller battery than for the standard size. Amazon sells the smaller battery by itself, but the DeWalt website does not. DeWalt also fails to explain the battery warranty difference clearly unless you try to get a replacement for a failed battery.The new DC9180 Lithium ion batteries are said to be superior to the NiCad batteries, though they still only have 2.4 Amp hours and a two year warranty. They certainly cost more, so I hope they last longer. I guess if I buy a DeWalt drill with the LED feature, I might as well get the new Li-Ion model.This DC725KA is going back to Amazon, never used. I did try out the light. It worked, and is probably worth having when drilling in an unlit place.

Absolutely the best on the market

I have been repairing power tools for over 30 years. For 2 very definitive reasons I can say that Dewalt is the best there is. #1: They have the lowest frequency of repairs in the industry. #2: On those very rare occasions when they do require repair Dewalt goes out of their way to cover those repairs under warranty whenever possible. Unlike companies like Makita, who go out of their way to come up with convoluted excuses not to honor their warranty. A review by damocles warns that the chuck assembly loosens when hot. I just used this drill to cut 9 holes, each one 2 1/2 inches in diameter into 1 inch thick very good plywood. The cutting cup got hot enough to cause 3rd degree burns but the drill performed perfectly.

Nice idea, shame about the design and manufacture quality

I own lots of De Walt tools, but I have noticed a serious drop in their ability to produce a durable cordless drill recently. There is no doubt that De Walt have bright ideas, and their products, on paper, are very impressive, and push the boundaries of what you expect a tool can do for you. I realy like their cordless nailers (I have two!) However, this drill has some serious design flaws.Be aware that the front torque selector, spindle, gearbox and a weighty Jacobs keyless chuck (I do like Jacobs chucks) are held inside the clamshell by...by... a plastic location ring groove in the clamshell body, that ring grips the gearbox, and which measures no more than 1/16th or 2mm in indent depth. Consequently, let your tool heat up, or use it under torquey conditions and guess what? The entire front housing loosens up. On my drill I can get the chuck housing to move an 1/8th or more (depending on how hot the plastic is) in any direction, yet the clamshell is gripped firmly and doesn't move at all! Other than this inadequet plastic groove the frameless motor had location cut outs in its magnet body to try and stabilise the front end, but since the motor is only held in place by the pressure of the screwbolts holding the clamshell shut this feature is limited in what it can achieve. Maybe i've just got a dudd, but i doubt that this drill issufficiently well engineered for the trade/contractor market, which is a shame. Let's hope De Walt realise and redesign this into a really decent bit of kit that can rival the Japanese blue tools that I will be using from now on for cordless drills.

Good idea/ poor design. Rust & non-working suction cups

I bought this for my husband last Christmas. It was one of his favorite gifts last year... fogless shower mirror, with clock, with light and radio/ipod music! My husband was able to set the clock and make a connection with his computer for music. He loved the idea of it and had enjoyed many showers with his own personal music selection or listening to his favorite talk show on the radio. The bad part is that it didn't even last a year. After a couple of months, the mirror part fogged up and was no longer "fogless" (which he needs to see for shaving). Within 6-7 months, the antenna rusted. Then two weeks ago (less than 11 months of use!), the suction cups stopped functioning so it fell. Once it fell the speakers went out and that was that. For the amount of money that was paid ($100 os so), I feel that it should have lasted much longer than 10-11 months. (And there is no reason for any of the parts used with this "shower" mirror to have been made of materials that RUST! Huge design flaw!). I also feel that the suction cups could have been of better quality for that price... or if that is the nature of suction cups then give the consumer a time frame of when to change them out instead of having it fall and break like what happened to me! Or maybe the product itself is just too heavy for effective support with suction cups? The temporary "fogless" feature should be improved upon too. After all, the main reason for this product is the fogless mirror for shaving.I think the product is a great idea, but it wasn't designed to last so it's a waste of money in the long run. Too bad, my husband really liked it. This year, I am just going to get him a replacement fogless shower mirror with clock/light. We are not forking out another $100 thats for sure! We wont be buying the Zadro brand either. We are so disappointed that it didnt last.

not worth it

Purchased about a year ago.. the remote wireless transmitter was very unreliable. The small dials to tune in a station on the main unit are horrible. The remote unit is digital, why not make the unit digital? It has a digital clock on it! So it was just an expensive, difficult to tune fm radio with mirror. Until a couple months ago when the radio stopped working..So now its just an expensive mirror! Totally not worth it.For the money put in a ceiling speaker and a small ipod dock outside the shower.. Works great!

Very poor design

First the clock would not set properly even though I carefully went over the directions and consider myself technically capable. The sound quality is quite good when you can find a station. I live in a metropolitan area where radio signals are strong. But tuning this is reminiscent of tuning an old shortwave. The tuning is very touchy and the radio doesn't stay on the same station. This makes the radio almost useless. The mirror/light combination is fine but it would be cheaper and better to get a separate shower mirror and a better functioning shower radio (this is my next plan).

Worth Every Penny

A 2X teleconverter requires a lot. Not only does it have to have good optics itself; it has to link well to the primary lens, supporting quick focus and aperture settings. It requires high end optics on the far end of the teleconverter, as well. The Zuiko 2X teleconverter easily meets these requirements.Used with the Olympus E-3 and the Zuiko 300mm f2.8 lens over the course of two weeks in the field, it performed flawlessly. Autofocus, even on birds in flight, was quick and reliable. I've cropped photos taken with the teleconverter and my 300mm by as much as 50% and not been able to find any defects or flaws. The focus is crisp across the image. Because the Olympus System uses Four Thirds technology, with a much smaller sensor than most digital SLRs, the potential for problems is probably higher. I encountered none.This is a fine piece of optics that does exactly what you ask of it. Highly recommended.

Not cheap, but worth it!

OK, let's get this out of the way -- the EC-20 isn't cheap. You can buy a nice lens for your E-system camera for less than this guy costs.But once you start looking past the "kit" lens(es) you bought with your camera, you'll want to move up to Olympus' higher-grade optics. And if you ask me (although I'm quite aware you haven't), the EC-20 should be one of the first upgrades you look at.Coupled with the 50mm f/2.0 macro lens, it's a boon to close work -- letting you get frame-filling images without having to be on top of your subject. For everything else, it can essentially double the number of lenses you own, presuming you plan ahead a bit when you buy them. Buy the EC-20 as your first step up from your kit lens(es), and you'll save yourself money (and weight!) over the long haul.And did I mention that images you take with it are tack sharp?

Extremely Pleased!

I just purchased Olympus Zuiko EC-20 2x Teleconverter. I have used it with the Zuiko 14-54mm zoom, the Zuiko 18-180mmm zoom and the Zuiko 70-300mm zoom on an Olympus E-330 with much success. I couldn't be more pleased. I'm accustom to Nikon film cameras with high dollar Nikon glass, but I am very pleased with Olympus digital products. I have already gotten some beautifully sharp, calander quality, wildlife pics @ 1200mm (35mm equiv) with the Zuiko 70-300mm four thirds digital zoom. Simply Amazing! I have paid Nikon much more for much less.

Good Product but not Overnight Wonder

I have a 10 month old purebred Bichon Frise. Only one of her eyes waters a little. The watering began when she was teething and loosing her baby teeth. Any watering on a pure white dog will stain no matter how much you clean it.I gave the lowest recommended dose to her on top of her food. Her appetite did not change. (However, the powder does get in her hair- which Bichons have a lot of, so I will sprinkle a little water on top to make it stick to the food better.)After 2 months and 2 monthly hair trims (which is a must for Bichons), my babies eyes are BOTH white now. I am starting to give this to her every other day and try to wean her off of it. So far, the stains have not come back.BEFORE giving this to your dog I would recommend the following: #1- Check their diet for dyes, beets, or by-products. My dog eats only Innova Puppy Food, so there are no dyes, beets, or by-products causing the staining. #2- Check for stray hairs- My baby has the hair trimmed back from her eyes, so the watering is not irritation. #3- Use only Stainless Steel Bowls- others could have dyes in the plastics.

I had tried everything!

Although cost was never a real issue, I almost choked when I saw the price of Angel's Eyes. And the shock was compounded by knowing it wasn't a permanent solution but something my white minature poodle OLIVER would always have to take if I wanted bright, clean & clear eyes. I thought long and hard before buying that first tiny $32. bottle at the pet store. It only contained about 2 weeks of treatments, but none of the topical products had worked. Name it, I'd tried it.... I changed to a food without beets, cranberries, or blueberries. I only gave him bottled water as recommended by another poodle owner. I washed his face morning and night and kept applying products that promised to make his eyes diamond clear. The stain was so dark and permanent it certainly looked as if his eyes were bleeding down each side of his nose.I can't say enough about this wonderful product and buy it in the largest possible size so I'm never without. Oliver is down to 3 times a week and it keeps that nasty red yeast away. It only took a few days to see the new growth around his eyes and by the end of the first week, I was able to carefully clip most of the stain away. It's been 2 months and Oliver's eyes sparkle. It's processed in a powdered liver base so there was very little problem getting him to accept it. I think I mixed a little grated cheese in the first week but he doesn't hesitate anymore, and he only eats dry food.Great product and great company.

Great product that really works.

I don't usually take the time to write a review on products but I had to write one for Angels Eyes. I have a 7lb Shih Tzu w/ all white fur around his face and this product has worked wonders.We got him at 12 weeks and the staining was really bad. I did not start using this product until he was 9 months old because I thought maybe he was just teething and it was causing the staining. I used Angels Eyes for 2-3 weeks before I actually saw a difference. I was happy that it worked but disappointed that there was still some staining. I have now used it for 2 months and the red staining is gone completely (after cutting the old fur away). He still tears when he's running around playing and his whiskers and fur is wet around the nose and mouth but there is no red color. He also has no problem eating the Angels Eyes if it's mixed in w/ some canned food.

Great Walker/Rollator

I purchased one of these for my 87-yr old Mother who lives in another state. She is 4'10" tall and weighs under 100 pounds. SHE LOVES IT..!! She still drives and, because of its light weight, can get this walker in and out of her car with ease. The under-seat storage works great for securing her purse. Set up and take down are easily managed. Mom uses this as a walker, grocery cart, and sitting rest stop anywhere in the stores. Overall it is a very versatile piece of equipment that allows her to stay on the go with little hassle. This item had an initial delivery time of two weeks but we received it in about 4 DAYS. Excellent product with excellent service. Highly recommended for a petite person who is not a weight lifter.. My Mom is VERY satisfied, and therefore...so am I.

My mom was looking for a walker that was light and had a good hand grip, well this walker has it all. This is the best walker you could purchased. Was easy to put together, and it adjust to your height. And the price was right on. Buy it you can't go wrong.

Excellent and very light!

My mother, 62 yrs dialysis patient who has mobility problems, loves her new super walker! It is a super upgrade from her regular walker which was somewhat limiting. This allows her to take a rest whenever she gets tired of walking.It was easy to assemble and it is very light. There is a basket/bag that comes with it but was proving to be too cumbersome for her so we just took it off. Instead, I got a bag that can go in from of the backrest which works better for my mother.The best part is the breaking system, which allows my mom more control when she needs to sit down etc.

Super Product and Super Company

I purchased the Rollator for my mother who is 91. It arrived in about two days. The price was half of what the local medical supply stores charge and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend Medline products and Bethman Sales. We also bought a Medline Freedom transport chair and had the same positive experience. Thanks to Bethman Sales, we can take mom to the mall safely and in comfort.

I purchased this after reading all the reviews that were listed,the good and the bad. This item had one review that mentionedsciatic nerve pain, since that is what I am experiencing afterirritating the nerve bundles on both sides and being miserablefor months. I've seen the doctor, had x-rays and an MRI - I amnow waiting to see more doctors. However, my doctor told meI made a brilliant choice in getting this project as it allows me tobe mobile while I'm waiting for more information on my problem.Don't get me wrong, it is not a fix, it is a help. It allows me tosit when the pain starts rather than letting it build up and takelonger to stop. I might mention my physical therapist thinks itis a good idea. I had been losing to much muscle tone andbalance - I really need to move around more.

Medline Performed above and beyond the call of duty.

They shipped blue my wife wanted burgundy I complained through Amazon to calm her complaint. But a rollator is a rollator and I assembled the blue one. Medline wanted to ship burgundy and return the blue rollator but to me the color was fine. After many messages back and forth we kept the blue and they gave us a rebate for the difference in color which I did not want or request. She likes the blue now but has never used it and probably never will but she is content and peace reigns again. Thanks Medline for your patience and understanding.
