Gift Mark Children's Spindle Rocking chair is beautiful and well made.

I did quite a thorough search on the internet to find a rocker that was made of wood and built to last. I decided to try the Gift Mark Deluxe Children's Spindle Rocker based on the Amazon description. I am extremely please with the rocker. My two year old granddaughter loves rocking in it by herself and also piles all her "babies " in it and spends hours rocking them. This rocking chair is big enough so she will be able to used it for quite a few years. Its durability is outstanding. It is rare these days to find furniture that is not made of flimsy wood products. This rocker is just the opposite. I tested it out myself and it supported my weight without a problem. I highly recommend this rocker and will be buying more for my two grandchildren who will be born this spring.

Quality and simple beauty

We bought one for each of our three daughters. It was so simple to put together, it's a sturdy hardwood, and beautiful! The rungs in the sitting area aren't too far apart (no heads getting into them). The corners are all smooth (no owies). And the seat isn't so far off the floor that it's too hard to sit in; and big enough to have grow room. My 2 year old started rocking in it right away. My 4 year old and 6 year old really enjoy it as well; but they'll have to wait till their birthdays to get theirs. I was extremely pleased with the quality, price, and beauty. I really think this rocking chair might last to be used by my grandchildren.

Great for the money

I have owned many wireless systems, both cheap and top of the line. Rackmount, pedals, small receivers, everything. My main wireless system that I used for my guitar rig is an Audio Technica Digital Reference DR series (a guitar center exclusive product) and I love it!Now that we've established Audio Technica is good stuff: This wireless system was bought as a wireless for my bass rig. I hooked it up to my guitar first however to test it out. Worked great, just as good as my DR. I could tell that the range was close to that of the DR, but a lil shorter and a little more apt to breakup. Also, when I leaned up against the medal siding on my rack, there was a lot of breakup. This isn't important because honestly how much will you be playing leaning up against metal things, but, I was comparing to the fact that my DR doesn't break up...ever...no matter what.Tone wise the Freeway handles guitar nicely, better than more expensive systems I've owned in fact. And was shocked me was how clear and punchy my bass was through it. I've had a hard time finding wireless systems that would handle bass without distortion and pop. The Freeway was an excellent choice for my bass rig.A few side notes about the Freeway: 1- it does not come with the 4 prong cable for the transmitter (which is expensive as hell AND quite hard to find usually) 2- Audio Technica is easy to reach, and they have helped me solve problems, however, it took them FOREVER to find out that my DR series was actually just another series with a different name. Made it really hard to help me track down a 2nd transmitter pack. In fact, for about the first 5 calls they just told me the product was out of production and I couldn't get parts for it. 3- I've heard from other guitarists and a review on Musician's Friend that this is the wireless the band Asking Alexandria uses. I could honestly see it, its a helluva system for the money and I would buy another one if need be. Now I don't know how true the claim that AA uses it is, but that is just some info that may help anyone wanting to purchase this product.All in all, if you're not signed and makin money to buy a $500 Shure system...I'd roll with this :)

Not exactly what I expected...

When I received the product I was surprised because the color was burgundy instead of the red shown on the website. So my boyfriend's costume didn't exactly match mine like we planned. The hat also came with feathers around the rim, which it didn't show on the website (a little cheesier than I was going for). Other than that, the costume itself was of good quality compared to most, although I didn't get what I was going for when I spent the money.

The costume was good quality and we won a 1st place prize at a party we went to. We had ordered Medium as outlined by size guidance from another company it was too small. My husband wears a 42 jkt. this was listed an XL 46. So do buy bigger than it says to.

Nice watch, finish wears

I've had this watch for almost 7 years now. It keeps good time, and the date, rotating bezel and adjust screw work nicely (still). I bought it expressly for visibility at night and the luminous hands (all 3) and 'dots' are great. Only criticism: the black finish wears surprisingly fast: a little on the watch but a lot on the band, particularly in contact with sweat. Which is too bad, as the black finish is very distinctive when new. I would buy it again, anyway.

Generall a good watch, but the finish doesn't last.

I've had this watch for a few years now. It is a great watch, I've never needed to replace the battery and the glow in the dark markers are still very bright. My only complaint is the finish. I suppose I can't really complain, any type of coating would probably wear off over time. It's really bad on the band and clasp. My last watch was a Luminox Navy Seals Watch (Very similar) with the stainless finish but I sold it and bought this one because I liked the black finish better. In hindsight I would stick with the stainless finish since it can't wear off. If it were a special occasion only watch, or if it was a $50 watch that I could replace every year or so it would be ok. But for a watch this price I need it to last a bit longer.I don't have any complaints with the quality at all, I realize that no coating will last forever. Just consider that when you make your decision. I personally will be sticking to stainless finishes from now on.

Glowing dial will outlast movement

Bought watch new in 2002. Quit working in 2007. Battery was replaced but movement eventually stops working after a few hours. Date indicator moves ahead 3 days after midnight. The Luminox Titanium watch I bought before that one still works ok though. The watch has never been underwater or used to chop wood etc. The only action it saw was me wearing it while riding my motorcycle.

Great buy!!

These mics sound phenomenal for the price! The toms are crisp and clear, and the kick drum microphone does not sound muddy like cheap microphones do. They are slightly flat sounding, but that is a simple eq fix. Even when using top of the line Shure/Senhieser/Audix mics, you will likely be doing some EQ to get the drum sound you like anyways. I would recommend these drum mics to anyone on a budget! They sound much better than CAD mics for sure, and they are both around the same price range.

The cheapest way to get your drums mic-ed, but not great by themselves for recording.

These mics are ok for the beginner home studio if you are just looking to get your drumming ideas recorded. They are also fine for recording practices with your band. They are also fine if you are going to use them for mic-ing your drums live at shows and putting them into the mix a little, as I used the kick drum mic from this 4 pack placed into the kick drum and would send it to our PA to beef up the kick during live performances. Just keep in mind these mics are condenser mics and like all condenser mics they require xlr plugs with 48 volt phantom power, not quarter inch jacks that are unpowered like dynamic microphones. So if your mixer does not have xlr phantom power jacks, these mics will be useless to you. That being said, I would not try to record a demo or an album with these mics. The highs fall off very fast on these mics after about 12khz. This leaves you with a very dull and unlively recorded drum sound. These make terrible overhead mics for drums. They will sound decent if you use each mic as a close mic to only one drum, however you will still need to use some better condenser mics for overheads to brighten up your highs (cymbals) and liven up your sound. Generally I find these mics to be very dull (even with equalization), flat, cold, and unlively sounding. They are not bad sounding or awful, they just arent going to give you the warmth or liveliness you are looking for when recording drums. I think you could get a better recorded sound with two decent large diaphragm condenser mics (like two AT-2020 ($90 each, or two MXL990 $70 each) used as overheads and a cheap dynamic or condenser mic shoved in the kick drum. Those three mics would produce a better sound than these four mics for not much more money. Of course you would also need stands too though. So though this is the cheapest way to get your drums recorded, I think spending a little more on two decent overheads with stands is a better choice with better results and will get you farther down the road in your recording endeavors.The Good:Cheap, I paid 149 for my 4 pack and that includes four mics and three sets of mounting clips. They are a cheap way to be able to record your whole drum kit. They have excellent noise rejection and do not pick up background noise much at all. They are easy to use and set up. They are also smooth sounding and never get shrill, and do not distort easy. They also feel very solid and durable. Ive had mine for years with no issue.The Bad:They are extremely flat sounding. They are also dull sounding due to the highs cutting off at 12khz. Not very lively sounding when used for recording. They are ok for recording things in the low to mid range like toms and kick drum, but are too dull for a good snare sound and suck for the recording of cymbals. You will still need a decent set of overhead mics if you want to get a decent recorded drum sound.Summary:These mics are good for using to mic your drums for live applications. They resist high sound levels, distortion, and dont feed back easily. They are well made. They are also ok for a practice studio or rehearsals.These mics are not good for recording anything that you would want to put out in public such as a demo or album. You will need better mics for that. You get what you pay for, and your not paying much here for four mics with mounting hardware.

Super Tough

Drummers are known for beating the crap out of microphones, but I believe you could throw these against the wall and they will ask for more!!!! These mics sound great for the money too. I haven't used the Kick mic on a kick drum yet , I just use it as a floor Tom mic and use a better known mic (shure beta 52, Akg D112, Sennheiser 602) for the kick.

Excellent watch and very lightweight

I have had this watch in the white on black version (3050/3950) for about 4 months now. Let me tell you that the illumination of the hands at night is the best i have ever seen. It always is very bright and no light source needed. The watch is well laid out and easy to read at any time. The case is a carbon fiber of sorts ( feels and looks like plastic ). The watch is very lighweight and comfortable to wear, even while sleeping. The movement is loud at night, I can hear the second hand ticking. The band is a typical diver rubber band and I would prefer a black steel bracelet. Overall I love this watch and the only negative is that the painted on numbers on the bezel scratch very easily.

Fantastic product and service

chips were great. come with denominations

getting a poker chip set with denominations makes such a big difference. i love it. one thing i noticed though, i bought chip racks from a seperate dealer and all the racks are evenly proportioned yet a couple of these chip denominations fit differently into the racks. its a standard 20 chips per slot in a rack yet some denominations you have to kind of cram 20 chips in and others have a little bit of space after you put 20 chips in so the chip sizes are slightly off i think but they still all fit well enough to travel and more importantly work perfectly on the felt

I was worried about quality when I had to look at a less expensive chip because I had to purchase so many but these chips put that assumption aside. Great feel and weight!Coloring is detailed and vibrant. Makes a huge difference to have the numbers on the chips vs having to associate colors with numbers.The mix is well thought out with lots of lower denominations and smaller numbers as the denominations rise.Very few other sets offer all this so great value!My only issue was shipping in that the stacks were hand picked and placed in a box rather than being packed as a set. This resulted in too many 50's and not enough 10's.But the seller to their credit responded promptly and sent the missing blues and let us keep the 50's.So great product and great customer service.

Amazingly flat and accurate response.

I bought these to record live pipe organ performances. The pipe organ has a gigantic frequency range, but these little microphones record the sound perfectly. When I listen to recordings made through these microphones and the Olympus LS-10 digital recorder, the pipe organ sounds exactly the same as hearing it live...and I should know, I've been playing that pipe organ every week for five years!Expensive, but worth every penny.

Ghost Mikes!

I am a paranormal investigator and bought these mikes to use in my investigations to catch EVP's. These mikes go down to 20 hertz in sensitivity and also up to 20K hertz. Some EVPs have been recorded as low as 20 Hz, so I did not want to miss any of those. My voice recorder internal mikes only go down to 50 Hz, hence why I bought these. After using them on their first investigation, I was very impressed! The sound levels were so much clearer, louder, and the low frequency sound heard was amazing! I was listening through a pair of headphones real time while I was recording. I definitely recommend this set of microphones for any sound amplification use you might have.
