Nice but trouble

The watch looks good, but is very fat. Ever since I received the watch, the time ran fast (I have to set it back 5 minutes about every 3 weeks). After about 6 months, it just stopped running (no batteries). I'm in the process of sending the watch in to be fixed under warranty, which requires a $25 money order for Invicta's shipping costs, plus the cost for me to ship it to Invicta.

This watch is so better than the pictures make it look. It's a big watch but not overpowering. It works very well keeping great time and looks good on my wrist. Do not be afraid of the Flame Fusion Crystal, It's better than sapphire contrarry to popular opinion. You don't have to go to a jeweler to shorten the band, pushing the pins out with a small paperclip will work just fine. I love this watch.;

Great Knife for the Home Chef

I like cooking gourmet meals for my visiting guests and family which always seem to include alot of prep work, chopping, slicing, dicing etc. I seriously could never enjoy cooking again without a good Chefs Knife. I have been fishing most of my life. I am now 50. Ten years ago I purchased 5 Stella reels and have just recently sold them all and got 80 percent the original purchase price. That says something about Stella reels quality. I am now buying 5 more for the next ten years of my life.

I really like this watch.I'll start with the one negative I've noticed, and the reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.As a few other reviews I've read have mentioned, it has some pointy edges on the back of the case that can dig into my wrist. If I wear this watch for long periods I notice myself unsnapping the band to get a little relief from the case digging in.Aside from the one negative I really do like this watch. I find it easy to set. It keeps accurate time, based on comparisons with a Casio atomic watch.While I don't go diving, I have had it in water, and it hasn't been phased.It's got a sturdy feel. The ratcheting bezel is taut, without being hard to operate. It's easy to set. The crown turns easily without feeling like it's going to fall off in my hand.I'm a fan of the all black look. Black dial, black case, black band.I compare it quite favorably to my Citizen Black Eagle Nighthawk, but the luminox can be read in the dark.The absolute best feature to me, is the fact that the hour markers glow without the need to push any buttons. It's just a quick glance at the watch and the time is easily readable in any light conditions. No need to free up my other hand to push a button in low light or dark conditions.I'd call the Luminox 6402 a definite winner.

This watch is big and heavy and you will know you are wearing it without a doubt. If you prefer a lighter watch, stay away from this one. The crown is big and can tend to dig into your hand from time to time. I have been wearing it for a week and am getting used to the feel, still though I doubt it will ever be as comfortable as the seiko dive watch it is replacing.The watch is heavy, well built and has a solid feel. The crown and back case are screw-down so although not tested yet, I assume leaking will not be an issue during recreational diving. The bezel racthet action is very precise and accurate, it will not turn on its own (something that my seiko would do). Needless to say this watch is very easy to read at a glance in any lighting situation. I can also say I am pleasantly surprised at the accuracy, it has not lost / gained a second in 5 days.

I have had no problems with the points on the back,they are average, if you do simply don't wear the watch so tight. This is one of my favorite watches, it has a good heavy solid feel to it, no larger than a Swiss Army Marerick 2 watch. Changing this size of the braclet is no problem, I did it myself in under 5 minutes with a sizing kit. The only real problem with this watch is that the black finish is easly scratched off, this is true of all black metal watches.

brittle crystal

I was very happy with my new Luminox 3067 watch .I bought it because I am able to read the time in the darkness, however it has been extremely disappointing,to see how easily the mineral crystal breaks .Before taking a shower I dropped my watch on the tile floor , it chipped as it hit the floor from 3 feet at most.The way the watch is sold ,with the Navy Seal image it leads the consumer to believe that it is a rugged watch .It is a complete absurd for the manufacturers of this watch to specify the crystal that is being used , it goes against the image being portrayed by the way in which the product is marketed .I have owned many GShocks , Timex , much cheaper and with excellent results at half the price and that are strong durable watches .I have used them for many years.I am aware that this are not Rolex watches , but I am sorry I bought the watch , the fragile crystal makes it a lousy product

I LOVE this watch. Perfect size, light weight, easy to read.But, I've only had it about four months and there is already a scratch on the crystal.That's especially surprising as I haven't worn the watch in any sort of rough conditions.

Defective Watch

I recently purchased this watch and when it arrived it would not keep time right out of the box. The second hand is out of alignment and hits the minute hand preventing it from working. I was really dissappointed since I had one of the original Luminox Navy Seals watch with the orange face and it was the best watch I ever owned and worked great for years until this summer when I lost it overboard while fishing because I had the band set too loose and it fell off. I'm sending this new watch back to Luminox for repairs. I guess they must not have any quality checks to send a watch out from the factory defective. Hopefully they will make this right. I am giving it two stars because the watch arrived quickly and I liked the free shipping. Also the watch looks great and was just what I was hoping for other than it not working.

My favorite watch!

Though initially hesitant to spend the money, I'm glad I did. It's a beautiful watch that keeps very accurate time. Surprisingly solid and heavier than it looks, it just feels like a classic timepiece. The subtle design, sapphire crystal back (hence the 'viewmatic' name), hidden-button deployment clasp, and the smooth sweeping second hand are very nice touches and really make this a special piece.

Very nice dress watch

If you are looking for an understated, classy-looking watch that you can wear on almost any occassion; you will like this piece. There is nothing too exciting about it. It has the ETA 2824-2 inside of it, it keeps great time, and it looks fantastic on a black or brown leather strap as well. It is simple; it doesn't demand attention, yet it is something you can be proud to have on your wrist. Some of the details that you may not notice in the pictures - the texturing in the center of the dial is actually made up of small little H's. Kinda neat. The center of the bracelet is also meant to look like H's. The outer links are highly polished so be aware that it will easliy show scratches if you are not careful.

Great quality but slightly unstable

I had purchased a file cabinet (Antiqued Cream Lateral File with Extra Storage), by the same manufacturer and was extremely impressed with the quality and great instructions to assemble it with. With that experience in mind, I needed a storage cabinet and jumped at the opportunity to get a matching furniture piece. It's the same great quality in the material and looks. I was surprised how short it was, even though I knew the dimensions when buying it. You should be aware of its height at under 4 feet tall. I think I forgot once I had it assembled. Even with it loaded up with CD's and DVD's, it seems a bit unstable; the carpet makes it lean slightly to the wall, and when you open the doors, more weight is directed to the back. I will not put this cabinet in a spot where high people traffic will be, as if someone ran into it, I'm afraid it might shake enough to jumble things inside or tip over. The way the doors open is cool, but that's another area of concern; you need space around them to swing open.The instructions weren't quite as impressive as the file cabinet's were. The hidden connectors were of a different kind and I had a little concern if I were tapping them in with a hammer correctly or not. There's a lip on the hidden connector housing that should be obvious that it shouldn't go down any further when it meets the surface of the wood, but if you look from the side at the inset, there's usually a gap between the hidden connector housing and the bottom of the inset and it makes you think it should be flush in that slot. I wondered that and hammered it farther, to the point one piece started to crack. That was when I realized don't worry about the gap, and that is my advice to you. Another step that seemed impossible was when you connect the door uprights to the door and shelves, after previously inserting many rods. If it looks impossible, just remove some of the rods from the shelves and put them in the uprights and push the screws inside the hidden connectors up inside the connectors until you have it lined up... then screw them in. Finally, the last thing to pay attention to is when connecting the doors onto the unit. It shows to lay it down and assemble both doors. Everything appeared to line up perfectly, until I stood it up and notice the left door was sagging about a quarter of an inch lower than the right. It may not seem like much, but it was noticeable enough to bother me, so I took the left door off and did it over again. My advice is: put one door on laying down, then either put the other door on standing up, with the help of someone else, or measure the hinge height from either the top or bottom for the second door to make sure to compensate when screwing in the hinge.Otherwise, it's a great little cabinet. Just make sure you look at my review when you're installing it, and that should help. That, and keep in mind how short it is, for stability purposes.

Gift for Husband

My husband is the worse person to try to buy for. He usually just goes out and gets what he wants leaving us wondering at each birthday/holiday what in the world to get him. When I came across this item, I knew immediately that it was for him. The cookies are great, delivered in a timely manner and have never disappointed.
