Protection without the bulkiness

I have about 15 years of experience as an in-line skater. My previous protective gear includes Roces, Rector, and Protec.Whenever you are shopping for protective gear, please consider the circumstances in which you will be using it. Would you be comfortable to put on the pads you are considering and immediately drop on your knees to the floor? That is what happens every time you crash. Spend a few extra dollars and save yourself from injury by buying knee pads sufficiently thick to protect you.These pads currently keep my knees and elbows safe and have been used in multiple crashes without consequences. I also have the Triple 8 Saver Series Wristsavers to complete the package.All of these items fit me perfectly and slide fine when I happen to fall.Please, wear protective gear at all times. I have plenty of ruined pants as evidence that everyone, no matter how good, can fall victim to the imperfections in pavement. Especially, please ALWAYS wear an appropriate helmet. I strongly recommend, and it has saved my head in a hard impact with concrete, Bell Alibi Youth Bike Helmet. It's marked "youth" but happens to fit me perfectly. Besides, helmets are excellent at protecting your head from low-hanging branches that we all "love".
