I bought this lyre for myself and my 2 year old. We both love it! He can use it alone to strum and I can use it to help in storytelling and in focusing my sons attention to new events. Lovely, solid, and beautifully made. Thank you, palumba!

Beautifully hand crafted instrument. The sound is enchanting. It can be a little hard to tune at first as the slightest movement of the tuning key changes the tuning quite a bit. After a while it gets a easier to tune and stays in tune for longer. My baby boy loves to listed to it. It puts me in a peaceful state of mind.

Don't waste your money

I hate this thing! Finally gave up on it. Yes, it has a nice tone, but after 3 weeks of constant tuning, it still won't hold a tune. I think it should by now. The strings should be settled in. It is also difficult to tune. The wrench slips, and the tuners are either too loose or too tight. I have been a musician for over 40 years, and I am not totally clueless. But this thing is not the soothing toy I hoped it would be.
