Best well made drumstick bag I ever had.

This bag arrived today. Mine is black, I decide to go with the black one because it was cheaper than the brown. It's a beautiful bag, but not very large, but I think it has it's advantages because the sticks can be more organized inside of it, as you can put just one layer of sticks, and that makes it easy to grab the right stick when you need to. With my old bag, where the sticks were kind of loose inside their pockets, I had to search for the sticks I wanted and that makes big difference in a show situation. With this bag it will not happen. Also the front pocket is large, and I think it holds a lot of small accessories and stuff. If you need to carry a vast variety of drumsticks, brushes, mallets, etc..I would recomend you to look for the extra large version of it, but to my needs I think this one is a better choice. Ah, be aware as other reviewer already said, it will not fit that brushes tubes too. To me one of the weakest points of drumsticks bags is the zipper. It always breaks sooner or later. this bag has the most quality zippers I ever saw in a drumstick bag. It really seems it wil last forever and also the cool thing about leather is it just looks cooler with time. That's certainly not the case with regular bags. Overall, a great product from Reunion Blues. Sorry for any mistakes with english. I'm brazilian.

I provided photos above to show the difference between this and its larger sibling - Reunion Blues Extra Large Stick & Mallet Bag, Chestnut Brown Leather - which I also own. Both bags are made of very high quality leather and are fitted with zippers that are sturdy and will withstand a lot of use.This particular bag holds just about everything a drum kit player needs. I typically bring 6-8 pairs of sticks and two pairs of brushes, but could fit a pair of mallets such as the Zildjian SDMJO John Riley Double Stick/Mallet Pair in lieu of a pair of sticks. The only drawback to this bag is for fixed brushes, which I always store in the original plastic tubes in which they come to protect the bristles, I cannot fit the tubes in the pockets provided for sticks. This is not a show stopper for me since I typically use Regal Tip® BR-584W Ed Thigpen Wood / Rubber Handle, Retractable Wire Brush-Single Pair and Regal Tip® BR-575-YJ Yellow Jacket Retractable Wire Brush-Single Pair, but for drummers who use fixed models like RegalTip 593C Regal Brushes Clay Cameron this bag may not be best, in which case I recommend that you look at the Reunion Blues Extra Large Stick & Mallet Bag, Black Leather.The front pouch is large and handy. I carry an extra hi-hat clutch, a few drum keys, and spare tension rods in mine. It will accommodate most of your small spares and essentials.Regardless of which stick bag you opt for, the Reunion Blues products are constructed to last a lifetime. They are top of the line and designed for professionals.
