Best Value Filofax from What I Have Seen

I have been through every major planner brand on the market and switched to Filofax a year ago after finding one on a discount rack. After falling in love with the much larger rings, quality products and great looks of Filofax, I won't go back to the others. Every other small planner I have used had narrow pages and small rings but the Filofax pocket has large rings and wide pages, not to mention really cute paper!As for the Filofax Classic Pink Pocket, that was a treat to me for the beginning of the year and I carry it everywhere I go. I do a lot of my work electronically but like to have a paper backup system for many things, especially my calendar and my daily pages. I use this heavily at work and at home. It is always with me in meetings and when I am shopping. On the weekends, I keep it out to track the stuff I wrote down during the week for the weekend. The size is perfect for all places.The Classic is made of very nice Italian leather. I have really not been very good to it and there isn't a scuff on it. The card slots are well made as is the zipper pocket in the back. I really treated myself a while back and ordered the pocket paper punch that punches exactly the right holes for this planner and I love it too.The snap on the front still works wonderfully after all of the paper I have crammed in. I do clean out the pages every so often so it is a little better but the closure hasn't even looked stressed. The outside edge (where the binding would be?) is slightly wrinkled but not really even noticeable. I have worked it back and forth some so it would stay open on my desk. The rings open and close great. The pen slot is perfect for my erasable pen.I don't know how much more I can say except that if you look on Filofax's site, they have a wide range of planners and fillers, but I still think the heavy leather of this Classic style is a great value. And it was cheaper here than there. I had an excellent shopping experience with this item!!!
