J&M Aragon II - Fair Weather Soles

The "inlayed" rubber pieces detach once wet becoming a tripping hazard. The J&M shoes are high quality except for the soles which I have replaced immediately. My shoe repair guy gives me a funny look when I bring in a brand new pair of shoes to have resoled. I wish the old time shoe craftsmen at J&M had the authority to override the marketing department - then these would be five star shoes. If you stay away from water and snow then perhaps the soles would stay intact longer. These are "fair weather" shoes at best. Once the soles have been replaced with high quality leather, the shoes are ready for the real world. The uppers are five stars and the original soles are negative one star.

Stylish and comfortable

Nicely built shoes. Even though they are new they don't hurt my feet like some other new shoes I have bought. Very comfortable. Good shoes to wear to the office.

These are great versatile shoes for business travel, slip on, coordinate with brown or black. The construction is good for the price point, I recommend some good gel insoles if you are going to wear them all the time.
