This is the second piece that I buy from Shaper Corset. I can not say enough of the quality of the garment and the good service from the company. Follow closely the seller instructions to pick your size, and you won't be disappointed on that regard.First of all, this is a real corset, not a "fashion" corset. This means that it is meant to be worn cinched tight, and it really helps to achieve the hourglass figure. This particular corset is made of nice and soft velvet; the red is really deep burgundy, not flaming red; it comes with 6 detachable black garters and its own bag for storage. The velvet is soft to the touch and it has a beautiful shine that can't be appreciated in pictures. If you need help to learn how to put it on, go to youtube and search "how to lace a corset by yourself". It is easier than you may think! Also, you can find in the seller's web page how to put on the laces.March Update: As I am breaking in the corset, I have noticed a little detail that takes away one of the five stars I gave it when I reviewed it on January. The frontal steel bones (the ones that are just by the busk) do not reach to the top of the corset, they just go up until about the second button of the busk; I guess it is to allow the breasts some room to be positioned. I have large breasts (38D bra size), and in my case, the fabric folds over itself and makes unflattering wrinkles in the breast zone that take away the effect of slenderness that a corset is supposed to make. Do I know if this will happen to everybody? No, but now that I know I would not take the risk.If you have big breasts, I recommend that you skip this overbust and purchase an Underbust Corset instead.
