Its an awesome statue...

The only thing that is misleading from the box is the the rope and other details are from the master statue(the original artist's work). They are not the actual one you get in the box. The rope is not as thick and the wrinkles are not as detailed as the pictures on the box...I still like it regardless. Seems very durable and it makes an excellent addition to my collection.

This statue is a great addition to the Batman collection of any series. Miller's statue interpretation of Batman seems particularly suited to the "Black and White" treatment. The attention to detail is here, and the rope and batarang dangling down are intricately crafted. This statue stands taller than most Bowen busts, and I can't find anything to complain about with it. The cape is sturdy, so there's not really that worry of snapping it if you touch it wrong (like a few other statues out there). Grab it before it sells out!

A Real Beauty

This guy is so hard to get. Sold out even in comic book stores as well as many online companies that carry it. I finally found it at a reasonable price at Amazon. Very sought-after, and rightly so. If you are familiar with DC b/w Batman statues, you will know that they have a bunch of these each by a renown artist like Neal Adams and Jim Lee. But this is the one I want, by Frank Miller because this is the one that looks the coolest! Only Miller can give Batman such a raw and interesting look that is so fitting for the stories he writes about the cape crusader. The only other statue that looks remotely as intriguing is Tim Sale's b/w Batman statue. I may get that next. You won't be disappointed with this statue, it's a must-have for any die-hard Batman/Miller fan.
