Beautiful Ring

I was looking for a tasteful, yet simple, and further yet affordable garnet solitaire ring to complete a set that I bought my wife many years ago. This ring met all of that criteria very well. It really is a beautiful ring, but it's not without it's flaws. While the description clearly states 2 diamonds, one on either side of the garnet, the image leads you to believe there are 6. I will say there are only 2, and the jeweler does a nice job with either silver or white gold metalwork in the area closest to the garnet to make your eyes deceive you. While the ring was a perfect size match at 7, the band itself, does feel a little thin, but I think it's all in what you pay for. The more gold, the more costly the ring would be. The cushion cut garnet itself is a stunning rich red and looks absolutely beautiful in daylight. The girdle of the stone does seems a little wider than I would have liked, but again, this was an affordable ring. In all, I am extremely pleased with the ring. And more importantly she loved it as well.

Mum's birthday

I bought this ring for my mothers birthday.I liked that it was easy to order and that i got the package in time.I was a little disapointed by the colour of the gem when opening the box as it was more of an Orange colour than the Red as shown on the photo of it.
