ZERO STAR - VERY DISAPPOINTED. Bait & Switch - Not the same product as shown

Too bad there isn't a ZERO STAR rating because I would have rated it that.Instructions suck. Badly written and will add about an hour to a simple installation.The product shown on AMAZON.COM is NOT the same product I received. First of all the item offered by AMAZON.COM shows two (2) mounting brackets which would bolt into existing threaded holes in the chasis and would have made the installation look neater. The actual SHIPPED kit has three (3) clumsy brackets which must be attached to the edge of the body onto the finished paint. I had to buy rubber grommets to protect the paint finish. Also, the rubber step is cheaper and does not have the brand name embossed in the rubber. HOW DOES AMAZON.COM get away with this??? It looks and feels like a VERY CHEAP "MADE IN CHINE" product. I am disappointed. I am not going to return this because it was a pain in the rear-end to install. And furthermore I am not going to go through the hassle of repacking it and hauling it to the UPS Store!!, I have to work for a living.They got me on this one. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have had years of mostly good experience with AMAZON.COM, but this is a BLATANT BAIT AND SWITCH ploy. Not nice Amazon.com you should be ashamed!!!

damaged due to packaging

I received the order in a timely manner from Fedex, but the thin metal tube ends were damaged during shipping...I managing to hammer out the dents, but had to order the plastic end caps from the seller(never enough auto), who was more then willing to send me another order, but I didn't want the hassle fearing the same problem. So they order the parts, but the wrong ones were sent from DeeZee, so I called the manufacture(DeeZee) and made sure they cross-referenced the part and a few weeks later they end caps arrived and installed without incident. It seems that the steps are packed in a cardboard box which is not reinforced at the ends which would have prevented the damage during shipment...everything else was well packed and all hardware and instructions were included. Easy to assemble.

Looks great and a piece o cake to install!

Bought these for a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Sport and couldn't be happier. Everything was included to install them, no drilling or hassles. I had them on in about an hour and they look great and would highly recommend them. Just make sure you look the instructions over well before starting the install.
