Awesome and Underwelming at the same time

When I first saw a couple photos back in 2007, my excitement for this toy skyrocketed. I am a huge fan of the concept Arcee toy. both modes are absolutely fantastic. so naturally when the black Takara version came out i had to have it. sadly I could never find it anywhere as they were all sold out of the online stores and the ebay prices were insane. So here I am on amazon and now the proud owner of a black Arcee....or so i thought. Make no mistakes, this figure is fantastic in every way, the paint applications are superb, and she looks quite Evil for an Autobot. Mine arrived from a seller here MOC (mint on card) in beautiful condition, so it was to my amazement that when i opened her up and marveled at her beauty that while transforming her into Robot-Mode that i noticed her Seat section/Crossbow Weapon was broken, and it doesn't have the ability to deploy the bow section. the mechanism is broken and doesn't function properly. Sadly, my excitement disappeared and turned to sadness. I paid a pretty penny for this piece only to be let down by a manufacturing defect...or was it? I noticed upon closer inspection of the weapon that it had been pried apart and re-glued by it's previous owner. I am in no way blaming the guy i bought it from. I am however blaming the person he bought it from. had this toy been in my hands without any flaws to the seat weapon, it would have gotten a perfect rating. and I'd be alot happier fro wasting the amount of money i did on this toy. But as of right now, I will no longer be buying stuff this expensive on amazon again.
