I bought this safe for my husband for Father's Day, so that he could get his pistol for his birthday, and he's really happy with it. It fits everything he needs in it and sits nicely at the top of the closet far from the children's reach. Very solid little safe. Really happy with it.

I don't why but so many safes or lock boxes are essentially the same dimensions. It just so happens that I had a long space that I wanted to use and this lock box fit it perfectly. It is so deep that I can pack a ton of stuff into it. More importantly, there isn't wasted space. The depth of this unit fills it up. I wish more safes were built this way. The electronic lock has been working just fine. No malfunctions. My wife uses it too and she's technology challenged but hasn't had any issues except for once when she forgot the combination and that of course wasn't the fault of this product. I'm really happy I bought it.
