A LOVELY REMEMBERANCE OF BALLET LESSONS

My five year old granddaughter began ballet classes two years ago. After her first recital, I wanted to give her something to show her how wonderful and special she is to her grandpop and me. Are you a "professional" and you're still being WEIGHED DOWN by that heavy-ass tool "belt"?? You spend good $$ on tools...don't you?? So spend a few extra bucks on COMFORT and efficiency and get yourself the Occidental Leather Suspendavest. And then get this drill holder and a fastener bag (both are easily removable if you are doing a job that doesn't require their use) and you will then become a HAPPY "professional". '

Two mugs cracked within 3 uses!

My husband and I registered for this set as part of our wedding registry. I LOVE the color red and he loves white, so we thought this was the perfect balance. I also thought Mikasa had a good quality reputation. Man, was I wrong. I poured coffee into one cup and it cracked! Isn't a mug supposed to hold coffee?! We put another in the dishwasher and it chipped - it says it's dishwasher safe right on it! The best part is that it wasn't placed near any other items!So I reached out to Mikasa's customer service department and they didn't even offer to replace the items - they said I could purchase a new set. Um, I have twelve, I don't need more!!! We've had them for three weeks and two mugs are trashed - so much for Mikasa standing by their "quality" products.

Horrible Quality Control...

I bought 4 sets of the "Red Berries" dinnerware service in late October 2010, and now, in mid December 2010 have already had to throw out 4 salad plates, and 3 dinner plates for badly chipped edges which turn into cracks across the entire plate surface. No kids, no abuse, only dishwasher cleaning on low dry. The bowls and cups are fine, but that may be because they routinely see less use.I am going to contact Mikasa directly, as maybe this is a QA issue with this particular batch of dinnerware...hope so because I have known them to be a high quality mfg. in the past.1/17/11 Addendum My dinnerware has continued to crumble, and I continue to throw out 1-2 pieces a week due to chipping/cracking. I have now emailed the Mikasa Company 3 times, and recieved 3 computer generated replies telling me how important I am to them and how they will contact me shortly for more details as to my complaints. Somehow I find that hard to believe. If I do hear from them as to a resolution, I will amend this review. If not, I think you would be better served to buy your dinnerware from ANY manufacturer other than Mikasa/Pfaltzgraf.

Fine Dinnerware

I just got this china set and it is so lovely. It is simple, but the painted cherries makes it look so delicate. I especially like the cups they are bigger than the ones that came from another set I bought. I love Mikasa and always wanted dishes from them, but they are always so expensive. I was glad when I found these and bought two set so I could have dishes for 8 people. I recommend this product. Delivery was good and the dishes came in their own box tightly pack so they would not break or bump against one another.

Once you figure out effective set up, it's great

I bought the MagneTrainer-HR because I wanted to exercise in my apartment and don't have space for a larger machine. It's relatively easy to set up, although you should forget about the chair tether the company provides; it's useless. Instead, place your chair against a wall, and then put the MagneTrainer on a yoga mat in front of you. This way it won't slip, even when you hike up the resistance. The machine provides a solid workout -- just like a recumbent bike at the gym -- and then stores away easily. I definitely recommend it.

Works well for the weak (me) and the strong (hubby)

I bought this to help maintain some leg flexibility due to health issues.My hubby, the avid bicycle rider is impressed with it. He uses it on days when he can't go outside for a 40 mile ride. He prefers to use this instead of his full size trainer especially on days he is saving his upper body for weight lifting. Go figure?We have had lots of exercise and weight lifting equipment over the last 35 years. The thing I always hated most was the constant adjustments I had to make since we were both using the same equipment. I groaned when I found him using this one and just knew it was going to be a problem too. Amazing, it was so simple to adjust back for me. I just pulled it forward 8", turned the knob to weakling level and started pedaling.We put it in front of the sofa. We have not had a problem with it moving.This simple device helps me maintain some motion/flexability in my legs, warms my feet, improves my circulation and helps move the water out of my legs. Best of all it is cheaper than PT or a gym and I don't have to get out of my pajamas.

A Great Mini Bike!

This bike is great! I've read all of the reviews on the various mini bikes available. The reviews for the MagneTrainer ER Mini Exercise Bike convinced me that this was the bike to purchase. I have knee and hip problems and the full size bikes would cause me difficulties getting on and off. With this bike I can slide a stool up to the bike at the distance that is most comfortable for me. I'm in a wheelchair but with some mobility. I'm able to roll up to the stool and get on and have a work-out. The bike is quiet and the resistance is very easy to adjust. I wear rubber soled shoes and I'm able to use the foot pedals with out using the strap. Some reviews mention that the bike will slide around on the floor. I put the bike on a rubber shower mat and then against a wall. This worked great. I ordered the bike on a Monday and it was delivered to my door on Wednesday. The bike was easy to unpack. It only took about ten minutes to assemble, the instructions were very clear. There were only about five things to install on the bike. It is great quality for the price. I would definitely recommend this bike to a friend.

Gives a subtle nuance to our bathroom

We chose this Sea Gull fixture for our bathroom as we are remodeling our house. We have to cut corners wherever possible and this fixture was chosen mainly for price reasons but we wanted a subtle note to your bathroom with out looking, as they say, to overdone.There were other fixtures with a grandiose look but just they didn't seem to fit.We're happy with our purchase and we use CFL bulbs in this and in all our light fixtures.

I requested and received the ASHRAE test report performed by Blue Heaven Technologies based in Louisville, KY. The report confirms these filters have been tested and rated as MERV 13 with an initial resistance of .33 WG at 492 fpm. They fit perfectly into my Bryant Media cabinet and filters-now.com was great in providing the test report to me.

Great Products...!!!

I really recommend these products. I have coarse, not-so-curly hair and it really works on me! The keratin mist is the reason I bought this kit. It is just amazing by it self (even wet, my hair was extremely soft when I put it on), but the entire line is great, and when I found this kit for less than 30 bucks, I decided to buy it. It smells amazing and it really leaves your hair feeling and smelling soooo good!

Portable, but not durable...

I love my Bose Sounddock. For this reason, I ran to the Bose store to check out the new portable sound dock with iPod in hand. I currently use my Sounddock in different rooms when cleaning/working out/cooking/etc. So it would be such a help to have a Sounddock that was more portable, particularly when moving room to room cleaning and for when I want to work outside this spring.But I was rather disappointed. It's simply the old Sounddock with 'cubby' to put your hand (I never understood why there wasn't way to conveniently pick up the old Sounddock) and the dock swivels in. That's it. AND for that, it's $100 more. And it's not durable. When I think 'portable', I think it means something that one can take out to a park or when camping. I wouldn't take this camping...especially since it's $400.It's great that Bose protected the most vulnerable part of the Sounddock (the dock), but I feel like it did nothing to protect the circuitry. Would this survive a drop? I don't think so. But Bose still makes the best iPod dock there is. The sound is second to none.

Great product, if you have the money to spend!

The Sound Dock definitely fills a niche. It allows you to hook up that Ipod without tying up any other sound devices... and it sounds awesome!! To get that sound takes a good bit of size and weight... I don't think their is much chance at any further trade-off, without spending a LOT more money.The sound is typical Bose, rich, deep, vibrant, etc... I would be careful with the "portable" tag, because of the weight, but if you really need to, you could take it with you. No different than last decade's "Boom Box".I use mine at work, because I really like the sound and it is low impact (just set up on the corner of my desk). I plug the Ipod in when I get to work and I've got podcasts, tunes, etc... all day long!I suppose I could live without it, or have bought a cord to play into my old cd player, but for the money, I found this to be the most elegant and low profile solution. I highly recommend!!All the best,Jay

You've Got To Be Kidding

I purchased these earrings based on the positive reviews here. I am very disappointed in the actual quality. On close examination, the "peridot" stones (if that is what they truly are) are held together with some sort of string or twine, sloppily tied at the ends, which is why I picked up on it. If I wanted to buy costume jewelry, I would shop at Walmart. Not even in the ballpark in terms of something that could be given as a gift.

Good lightweight boot

This is a good lightweight boot. It breaths extremely well, in fact I'm able to feel wind on my feet when working outside. The tread is quite aggressive outside, and plenty sticky on smooth floors inside.My only complaint is that the sole is on the thin side, so it doesn't provide much shock absorption. It does keep the boot light though.The innersole didn't fit my arch too well, so I replaced it with a jell one. It also gives some more padding.I also found that I needed a half size smaller, with a wide width (I normally wear a 12 regular, here I needed an 11 1/2 wide).

My husband order this necklace for me as new year present.Its never arave on time.We send numerous e-mail to Netaya asking where is the item we purchase,but no got ANY answers at all.Then we call ...and got hang up many times.Finally we got a hold of customer representative,she tell us that necklace was never send to us and still in the online store.....A week or so later i got the necklace.....its pretty,but much smaller then its look on the picture....If i have seen this pendant in the jewelry store i would not buy it for this price because of its tiny size.

As a job I travel about filming abandoned locations (seriously).This line of work can be quite dangerous, especially if you are wearing improper footwear.I purchased these boots because I had read in several places that they are quite comfortable and rugged.What I had read was correct, and I am more than pleased with these boots.Like all boots, expect to have to break theses guys in before you're totally pleased with how they feel.The zipper side is actually a key point to me, I hate having to lace and unlace boots every time I use them.That zipper saves me time, but mostly it just keeps the annoyance factor down.The tread provides excellent traction, I have climbed many a tree, fence, and wall in these things.Airflow is nice as well, I filmed an asylum this summer with an internal temp of almost 115 degrees, and my feet did not once cross my mind.Granted, not much crosses your mind in 115 degree heat, but over-heated feet sure would have made thing worse for me...Also, for being a zipper-sided boot, these have pretty good ankle support.~Rusty

Cheaply Made Boots Don't Last

I purchased these boots on Amazon almost exactly one year ago and they have already fallen apart. I am an EMT, V/R Firefighter and Paramedic Intern so I have given them some relatively heavy use but nothing out of the ordinary. When I received them, I thought they felt cheaply made but they were light weight and pretty comfortable so I said, "what the heck" and decided to give them a try. Well about a month ago the sole on my right boot came totally unglued from the toe to mid arch. Thank goodness I had my wildland boots in the trunk or I would have spent the rest of my shift looking like a train hopping hobo (No offense to train hopping hobos reading this). I managed to glue them back together with contact cement but that was just a temporary fix. They are now peeling up again so I had to order a different pair today. If you work in EMS do yourself a favor and skip these. Trust me, there are much better boots on Amazon for not much more money. I am a long time Amazon shopper and this was the first time I ever felt strongly enough about a purchase to write a review.

Amazing Boots at a decent price

First let me say that im an avid paintball player....i tested these boots out in the deepest woods on a rainy day up in jim thorp PA! I crawled in the mud...i climb into trees, i triped over rocks and mucked thru a creek! These boots didnt miss a beat...they were comfortable even after 8 hours of vigerous activity running thru the woods and when i took them off....my socks were totally dry from the rain...minus sweaty feet! I couldnt be happier with these boots...they are now my permanent choice of footwear if i should ever need to replace the pair i have!
