Swiss Army Master Diver

This diver from Swiss Army comes in six variations. You can get it with strap or bracelet and dial color of black, orange, or yellow. This review is for the bracelet model with the black dial. Most observations will apply equally to the other variants.This diver is a "sleeper". It grows on you. It is not big, bad, and bold like the Seiko "Monster" or Croton Super "C". Nor is it a classic replica of the Rolex Submariner like the Invicta Swiss Pro Diver.The bracelet is nicely tapered starting at the case and moving to the heavy duty fold over clasp with safety latch. The clasp has a quick release "dive extension" on one end to provide expansion for over wet-suit use. The major links are single piece with brush finish on top and sides. The minor links are high-polish providing a nice contrast. The back of the bracelet links are flat providing max comfort and no snags.The uni-directional bezel is brush finish with 60 detents corresponding precisely to the minute positions on the dial. The bezel has 10 minute major markers, 5 minute minor markers, and small minute markers for the first 15 minutes of elapsed time. All markers are recessed and finished in black. They will not fade or get worn off.The lugs and case sides are brush finish. The side of the bezel, top of the screw down crown, and the screw in back are all high-polish.The dial is very legible with a clear distinction between the hour and minute hands. The "cyclops" magnifier on the crystal makes the date very readable. The luminous material on the hands and hour markers charges quickly and sustains well. The depth rating is 300 Meters (1000 Feet) far beyond the depth needed by any sport diver.This diver has unique good looks and is very functional. It is small enough to be worn for every day use and thin enough to fit under a long sleeve shirt. All things considered a very nice piece.

swiss army watch

great watch at a good price. the date is easy to see. unlike the newer and more expensive version, this watch is much more compact and weighs considerably less. since i don't need protection at -500 meters this -300 meter alternative is superior, in every way.

Swiss Army Dive Master 300

This is a sufficient watch for the average sport diver. Most users will not require the depth rating of the 500 model, and will be pleased with the everyday size of the 300 model. I have the rubber strap version and find it to be quite comfortable. The watch is lightweight and durable which are the only true reasons for owning a watch with a purpose built diving design.

A Bit Fuzzy, But Not a Bad King's Costume If Wearing More Than Once

I ordered this costume to use in a play I was in (I played King Sextimus in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS). The costume was just right for the part. It looks like something a Renaissance-type king in a fantasy kingdom would wear. I wore the costume through a week of dress rehearsals and two weekends of performances. It was cleaned and was used once again at a costume party.The costume includes the top, bottom, and belt. Don't be fooled by all the pictures you see: it does not include a hat, shoes, or stockings. Even though I enjoyed wearing this costume for the play and costume party, I wouldn't recommend buying it if you are only going to use it once. The belt is an incredibly cheap piece of plastic that doesn't stretch and instead will tear. Also, until it has been worn several times the pants and top shed black fuzz like a molting dog, which makes quite a mess on one's underclothes. Also, the shops selling this costume on Amazon are selling it rather high. If you can find it for a better price (less than the usual $79.99 list price) and intend to wear it for several nights, it's a decent buy and would be about the same price as a rental.

Great Cap by a Fantastic Company

First thing is first... if your car can't handle an amp then a capacitor won't fix your problem.Do your research on capacitors before buying one because you "think" you need one. The digital aspect allows you to see the voltage provided to your amplifier. If you see your voltage dropping then you know you have a fault somewhere in your setup. The capacitor helps stabilize your amplifier by providing it with the extra power needed during heavy bass.I would highly recommend upgrading, at minimum, your battery to an Optima Deep Cycle Yellow Top. Autozone or Oreilly's can tell you which one you need. Do not buy the red top!For those wondering what the big 3 upgrade is it consists of: upgrading your alternator, your power cables from stock to at least 4 gauge if not 0 gauge, and your battery. Most people don't need to go that far for a basic subwoofer install. I.E. an amp of 500 RMS and one or two subwoofers. If you get into the 1000 watt RMS range then you need to seriously upgrade your car components.By using a capacitor you prevent harmful discharges from your battery. Keep in mind when installing the capacitor that you need to ground it seperately from the amp. In other words black ground cable from amp to vehicle and black ground cable from capacitor to car. DO NOT run a ground cable from amp to capacitor and then to your car. You can cause the capacitor to short out.This capacitor does not get hot. I had it mounted in a very tight space in my Silverado without any issues.As a side note I currently own an 03 Infiniti G35. The stock alternator has 110 amps available. I'm running an Alpine MRX-500 with two Type-E subwoofers at 250 watts RMS each. I'm giving each sub approx 300 Watts RMS as my amp is rated at 605 RMS. Nice thing about Alpine amps is that they out perform their advertised specs, usually. I have an Optima Yellow Top. I consider this a basic setup as my alternator can handle the small system. The capacitor helps to prevent the previously stated issues.Crutchfield sells Tsunami brand capacitors which are good and well but I've always used Alpine or Rockford which is the reason I chose this cap. I've owned it for 3 years and it's still running strong. ENSURE you charge it before install!Lots of random info in this review bottom line... Can't go wrong with this capacitor at $70.

A well made good looking cap

Let me start out by saying this isn't going to solve a situation where your pulling 150 amps and your car has a 50 amp alternator. If your power is matched well with what your car can handle the cap works very effectively to stiffen the cars voltage. This is especially helpful with subwoofers where the bass note usually cause the sub amp to pull a large amount of juice. This will be right there to help stop the voltage from dipping. When the voltage dips the amp works less efficiently and when the amp isn't working efficiently you have reduced power. Voltage dips also lead to heat build up(due to increased amp draw) and things breaking over time including your cars electrical system. The voltage meter is handy when tuning although it's also helpful to get a reading at the battery, so you have the true volts across its cells. The design will also work well in many situations if you want to display it, or you could just as well hide it for the stealth install.
