dessiccant replacement filters (PRICEY)

Great unit but replacement cost of replacement filters are prox 1/3 the cost of the whole unit new. Quite pricey if you do a lot of painting. Run a by pass piping when using air tools such as maybe a craftsman water trap and only use the desicccant dryer when spray painting.

good product but has limitations

I paint cars for a living so I need very dry air .These work perfectly for removing moisture from your lines but if you can afford it get refrigerated air dryer to run your air through before the dessicant beads.The air dryer will prevent you from having to buy beads regularly and with the two of them you will have the driest air possible.

Professional Grade

The CT30 is a professional grade in-line dryer. It is abig, beefy piece of metal and is heavy. It is solidly built and does not leak any air. I installed it in route to protect my 37 inch wide belt sander from moisture. It has a viewport that changes color when the dessiccant has been saturated (which has not happened yet through the past year). Based upon its construction and ratings, I feel reasonably assured that it will accomplish the task for which I bought it, and I would recommend this product.
