Great looking watch, Poor timekeeper

This watch does look really great. If that is all you need, I recommend it. However, if you need it for exact timekeeping, look elsewhere. The watch is always ahead within even a day. If I set it up in the morning, by the afternoon it could be 5 minutes ahead. Actually, it "loves" to be about 5 minutes ahead. I tried different things to fix the problem, but without a success. I returned the first watch and bought the same model again in hopes that it was just a particular piece's flaw. Nope; then I returned it again and bought again the same watch but from another store. The problem did not go away.Yet I decided to keep the last one because it looks awesome and I got it for just $68.50 total. As for timekeeping, I check the time with other sources (like a clock in my car)and do some Math. It could be fun, you know.

Elegant, well-made watch

I have about 8 watches, and this one has become one of my favorites. Because it has a spring drive--not quartz--it takes some getting used to the size (I normally prefer Skagen) and the need to wind it. I have watches that blend in, watches that get immediate attention, and watches like this one, that simply look elegant upon first glance but have people saying "wow" when they look just a little more closely. And for the price on Amazon--I paid half or less of what I would pay in a dept store--it was almost ridiculously inexpensive for such a nice watch.

I received this watch 1 month ago and got numerous compliments within the 1st week when I was wearing it, even much more than those 100 times more expensive ones in my collection such as Omega, GP and even IWC.Pros:1). Very good-looking skeleton watch, 9 out 10 friends like it very much! The quality of the s.s. case and back also looks decent.2). I think this watch is using a Chinese automatic movement based on its very low retailing price. But to my surprise, the movement works perfectly with almost negligible deviation during the first 2 weeks' testing period (I used a watch winder to keep the watch running when I was not wearing it frequently). However, no long term test yet.Cons:It will be nice if there's a date function... but considering it's price, it's fine...
