The surface has a brushed satin finish to help mask small scratches that occur over time and keep your sink looking beautiful for years. The overall dimensions of the 4221 are 42 1/4" x 20 1/2" x 9"(L) x 5 1/8"(M) x 9"(R) and a 42" minimum cabinet size is required. This sink contains 3 ½" drains(drain assembly not included), is fully insulated and comes with sound dampening pads. As always, our stainless steel sinks are covered under a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the sink.

On Dec 30, 2011 I ordered a 3 compartment sink from MR direct. When I received confirmation the delivery date was quoted as arriving between Jan. 9, 2012 and Jan. 25 2012. I responded by saying Jan. 9 is OK, but Jan. 25 would kill our renovation schedule. If the Jan 25 date is firm I would need to cancel the order. I immediately received a note from a young lady named Kali, saying the sink was ready to be shippped and that I would receive it Jan. 6, 2012. Guess what? The Sink arrived Jan. 6. The quality is excellent, the finish is beautiful, it is a heavy duty sink. I am very happy. I saved hundreds.

I agree with the other reviewer - didn't really think my old sink was bad, but this sink is much better. I notice a difference in sound immediately as an example. This is a very sturdy nicely designed sink. My only irritant was that it ships with one strainer (which I imagine is normal for the typical two hole sink). I couldn't find a matching one locally so I had to call the company to special order a second strainer and the shipping cost was about the same as the second strainer.

I love this sink! Replaced my old stainless steel triple bowl with this undermount and I never knew what I was missing! First of all the undermount feature is terrific since you just wipe the crumbs from the countertops into the sink bowl. Love that! Secondly the finish on this sink is superior to my previous one. It is shinier and has a better quality feel to it. It is quiet as far as not sounding dingy when it fills with water. What a deal price-wise too. The local home improvement stores wanted close to a $1000 for a comparable sink. Save yourself $$ and feel confident this is a great item. Fast shipping too!
