I completely disagree with the other reviewer. When I saw this necklace online I thought it was one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I had ever seen. I rarely have the chance to spend money on myself and if I do it isn't nearly a hundred dollars. So this item was on my wish list for almost a year before my husband stumbled across it and suprised me with it. Looking at the item online and wanted it is nothing compared to holding it in my hands which is all the more stunning. The pictures taken at an angle almost show the 3-D rising of the white image. The mother and child relationship being portrayed can be ever cherished by a mother who has experienced it. There are many veriations of this necklace and whichever is chosen I couldn't imagine a mother, who has an eternal bond with her child, not loving this pendant and cherishing it forever. The pendant represents something as elegant as beauty and as solid as true love. Yes it is only a necklace only jewerly but so is a wedding ring and it can mean so much more. This can too.

Nice - but thought it would be better

I got this as part of a Mothers Day gift.I ordered it nearly three weeks before Mothers Day, and they ended up having to express ship it in order for it to get to me in time ( I got it JUST in time for Mothers Day). So - horrible shipping.It was nice, but thought it would be a nicer (higher quality) piece from the pictures. If I saw it first hand not sure I would have picked it up.
