Not what I thought

These shoes fit me weirdly. They have not held up very well either. Typically I am very happy with Johnston & Murphy shoes, but this time they are a bit dissapointing. When they came the leather looked like they had been worn before and was really wrinkled. I was in a bind so I had to wear them but I was not happy with the quality of the product.

I am a fairly large guy (6'5", 275 lbs) and I wear a size 16 shoe. I work in a business casual environment and I can blow through a new pair of dress shoes in just a few months. I am accustomed to having them resoled regularly, even with top brands like Allen Edmonds. I have been pleasantly surprised with these shoes. They have withheld well to the beating I put on them several times a week. The leather looks great (holds a shine well) and the interior is the most comfortable I have experienced in this style of shoe. I highly recommend these Johnston & Murphy's.
