Good little pump

Purchased to remove water from underground tanks. preformes well....did not have to replace impeller yet. plenty of suction. would recommend this to any petroleum svc company.

Awesome pump

I purchased this pump to move home heating oil around my yard. I am always unloading totes of oil, that I purchase cheaply. I previously used gear pumps or farm pumps from tractor supply. I found them to be slow compared to this one. This pump is quick, pulls good suction to eliminate priming, and holds up well. I have even brought this pump to work with me. I work on am oil barge. This pump has the power to pull fuel up 20 feet to the deck and pump it to our slop tank. The x impeller seemd to be holding up to biodiesel. This pump is also very quiet compared to a gear pump. I coupled mine to a 1/2 hp motor from harbor freight which I found on sale. It turns it fine. I found 5/8 lovejoy couplings at Grainger and Ebay. Add 1 scrap of plywood and you have an awesome transfer pump.
