Great Pump, Great Buy!

We've used sump pumps for our large waterfall for years. They are heavy duty and inexpensive. But....we had to rewire and waterproof their short cords for use in our large pond - not an easy task! This Superior pump has a 25 foot cord AND costs less than any 1/2HP sump pumps we've purchased in the past. And it arrived within 3 days with standard shipping!

Perfect pump - but only lasted a year

The extra long cord is pefect to run our fountain in our pond!! Plenty of pressure - I hope it lastslonger than the pump we bought from Northern Tool...only 6 months!!!!This one lasted a year ... Maybe it's us

So Far So Good!

I have had this pump since 2010 and I also live in a flood plain that has rainy weather/flooding from October to July. I have two pumps placed under my house in sump wells that have protective screening that acts as a primary filter so the pumps do not perhaps suck up something other than water. I also have a slight high Iron content to my water. I lived with pumps since 1998. I have purchased the more expensive FloTec model that pumps out an impressive 6000 gallons per hour and is slightly noisy and which I have to replace every 3-4 years because the motors stop working, but since 2010 I have purchased this pump and even though it is 1/4 HP less than the FloTec model, it performs very well and has half the noise. Because of the smaller motor it does stay on a little longer than the FloTec but it seems so work good. I would for now recommend this pump. So Far So Good!
