This stand with its unique ability to have panels inserted into all 4 sides to enclose it is a great feature. The 1/2 MDF went in with no problems at all and enclosed the frame nicely, the others I looked at did not have this feature, they had shelf options but nothing for the sides that was as easy. Another feature they have is the leg levelers are on 5/16" threaded rod so I am going to try installing casters in them instead of the legs, this will also add a little more height to the table which I would like. If this does not work I will be getting the wheel kit. Also with the MDF sides and shelves this adds a fair amount of weight to the stand which helps make it even more sturdy then it was without the weight (was plenty sturdy before). Nice and solid.

I married this with a Rockler router table top I had purchased a year ago that hasbeen laying around waiting for a table to arrive. (yeah , I am slow). Other reviewers commented on the build and I'll just add it is quality materials and LIGHT! Lightweight can be a plus and a minus. I wanted light for ease of mobility, your needs may vary. The feet hold the unit steady enough for my needs. I did buy the optional wheel kit for ease of mobility.I'd suggest making some wheel chocks to place around the wheels for additional stability if doing this but with care the chocks are not a absolute necessity. The instructions show the top rails with the rails pointed outward. For the Rockler table top (32 incher) I hadto rotate the shorter top rails so they pointed inward, which was no problem. A few holes drilled in the table top and attached with Incra supplied screws. The middle shelf rails cost too much for me to consider a sensible option as it would be tooeasy to make these. The unit is of just the right height for a six footer to perhaps a six foot 3 plus humanoid. It would be easy enough to shorten it with a hacksaw if you wanted a shorter work height by removing length from the end without the feet lugs. Oh, I'm using a TRiton Router on my table in case that matters. Overall a great value and got the job done quick.

Very well made and sturdy. Has a lot of little nuts and bolts to put together but you only have to do that once. Can be easily enclosed for dust control.
