By Paul J. Ste Marie
This stand is a lot beefier than it looks. It's very rigid once bolted together. The vertical supports are L-shaped aluminum extrusions, with t-slots on the two sides. The horizontal pieces are fairly heavy gauge steel steel, nicely finished, with folded edges. Once together, it's much more rigid than the steel base it replaced. The double bolts on the horizontal pieces do an excellent job of preventing racking.

By CygnusX2112
Bought this stand to go along with the Incra router table top, 25 super system, mast-r-lift-ii. Amazon had the lowest price...Very easy to put together. The hardest part is getting everything perfectly square. But that isn't hard either. Don't tighten the bolts before you put them in the t-slots. Leave them almost coming apart. Then once in the slots tighten just enough to get the supports to stay in place. Its easier to get everything lined up and square that way. Then just tighten up you are ready to go...Like mentioned in another review. The RT Stand is stronger then it looks. Especially after the top is attached. Comes in a pretty small box. But everything you need is there. I like this stand better then I thought I would. When I get time I am going to insert 1/2" panels into the channels on the stands legs to enclose the stand. If you are thinking about doing that. Save some time. Get your panels before you attach the top. Or else you will have to remove it.....

By John Rawlins
Hi,I couldn't be more pleased with this table. It is extremely well designed and constructed. All the pieces are top quality. The aluminum channeled legs are genius. The adjustable feet are also very nice quality. They don't just mount into a shallow t-nuts that are destine to get knocked out when you're moving the table around. That always pisses me off.The ability to just slide in panels to enclose it is also sweet. There's no need to drill holes and drive screws. Just cut the panels to size and drop them in!Another thing I really like is the height. Some similar stands are several inches shorter. I'm about six feet tall and leaning over a shorter stand for an extended period is bound to result in a sore back. This table is tall enough that it won't be a problem.I'm really, really glad I spent a few extra $$ to get this baby over something not quite as nice. It reminds me of buying metal shelves. The cheap ones always get bent up and fall apart. Eventually they get pitched in the dumpster. This table should last a lifetime.Best regards,John
