Great Tripod

It isn't light- 6.31lbs, but if you want a very stable tripod with a great fluid head and reversible lift center column that can be put on a dolly, this is it. I warm up the fluid head by quickly turning it clockwise about 5 or 6 times and it pans perfectly.

Heavy duty

I returned this item because one of the legs would not extend. The rubber foot had come unglued, and it was necessary as a grip to pull the leg out. Other than that, this was a very heavy-duty tripod, not suitable for my use. The other moving parts seemed to be workable for a person with strong hands and fingers. If it's a sturdy tripod you're looking for, this has your name on it. Eat your Wheaties before you try to carry it any distance.
