Great Dish

The other review that gives this unit 1 star is absolutely inaccurate. I have had this unit on two RVs. Never had an issue with either antenna. And, the `Elevation Sensor' (called Digital Magic by Wiengard) is an absolute must have. Without the elevation sensor it often took 10 - 15 minutes to locate the 119-110 satellites (Dish) After adding the elevation sensor I normally find the satellite in less than a minute. Understand that this unit gets one satellite at a time so if you need to change satellites, you need to swing the dish 9 degree left or right depending. OR, you can spend a few thousand on an automatic multi satellite antenna (:-)UPDATE 11-27-2011 - PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF THIS DISH WERE, TO SOME DEGREE, AFFECTED BY STRONG WIND GUSTS WHICH WOULD CHANGE THE ANGLE OF THE DISH THEREBY DROPPING THE PICTURE.This new version has eliminated the problem completly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT.

This is the second crank-up dish that I have installed and used and I think that they are the best unit for the money. Acquiring the satellite is actually faster than with the automatic domes. It's really easy to lock on and takes only about a minute. Installation is not difficult. I highly recommend this dish to everyone.

This dish is very easy to use. I look at my GPS before I start to get an accurate direction. The degree indicator is 100%.
