Jungle Pride

Although I was impressed with this overall, it was just a tad too easy to morph from animal to megazord and back, so I was a little disappointed with the challenge factor. Guess it comes from years of collecting this type of stuff. Once one gets good at morphing megazords from animal/vehicle to megazord and back, one needs a little bit of a challenging megazord transformation you know?

One of the simpler Megazords, but still fun.

I think this is a case where the aesthetics outweigh the transformation. In terms of style, the Jungle Pride Megazord is exceptional; the detailing on the various spots and stripes is terrific. The fact that this release is nearly identical to the Japanese version is a major plus as well. It has a fun gimmick, and it's actually sort of posable, which is almost unheard of in the DX Megazord line. A few steps could have been taken to make the transforming/combining process more involved, but for what it is the Jungle Pride is a pretty solid toy.

The recipient of the toy (male, 10 yrs.) was quite pleased and had it going quite quickly. Yet to know whether or not it is durable.
