Product OK, but it was a hassle.

This flagpole was ordered on 10/31/11, and was originally meant as a Thanksgiving gift for my wife. After a long and tedious length of time it finally arrived on 12/06/11. This was one of those items that is shipped directly from the supplier, and not by Amazon. I would only caution you to be careful doing this type of thing. This will probably be the last time I do it, and will not deal with this outfit (Balkowitsch Enterprises) again in the future. I was told this was shipped on 10/31/11, and should arrive between Nov 14-22, and when it did not I started making inquires. As it turns out it was never shipped until 12/01 or 12/02, a month after it was supposedly shipped originally.As for the product itself, I am happy with the quality of the pole and it looks good since it has been up, but even with that I did not find it worth the hassle, and it ended up as a Christmas gift and not a Thanksgiving gift. I was refunded my $8.00 shipping charges by Balkowitsch, which I thought they at least did do a little something to ease the situation for me.
