The PL2500 is the top of the line of the PL-2 Series of Photogenic PowerLights. All "DR" and Solair constant color models are now available with 32 channel radio technology that wirelessly trigger your strobes. You can use multiple lights in the studio and on location and never worry about your lights being triggered by another photographer's flash. It's easy. Just set the radio PowerLight® to one of 32 channels on the Pocket Wizard transmitter. The built in radio receiver never needs batteries.

A must have for Studio Photographers

Are those small on-camera strobes not cutting it? Batteries die and they get hot. Lets face it they are just not as good as pro lighting systems. I use a couple of the these bad boys at work and they have work time and time again. If you want to step up to a good pro lighting systems then Photogenic is the way to go.Pros: I like the digital screen in the back so i can fine tune the amount of light. There is a small fan on the bottom that keeps it cool. The radio receiver for a pokey wizard is nice, Nobody wants cables everywhere anyways. The quick release for the reflector is smooth. You can attach a soft box and even an umbrella.Cons: They fan gets a little loud but it does its job just fine. They don't recycle as fast as I want. Expensive! but lets face it this is not a entry level product.
